Why do I need faith? How can I get faith after doubt?

Sometimes, when things don’t go according to plan, we lose faith, not only in ourselves but also in any potential outcome in our lives. We may even start thinking, “Do I stay a Christian when my faith is failing?” Failure will do that to you. When we experience life’s monumental failures, it’s easy to lose hope and faith. You can get to the place where you don’t believe everything you think, do, or say.

Wholehearted Faith is deep-rooted in the expectation of good things to come. It goes beyond hope. Hope lives in the mind and is in the future. Sometimes hope is nothing more than wishful thinking.

However, faith is present tense and is steeped deep in the heart and the spirit. Sometimes we just need days of believing bigger. It is standing in the faith where God suddenly shows up, and it becomes a crazy faith. But it’s only crazy until something happens that people can’t explain away. Faith comes from what is heard from God’s Word. We need to get unrealistic in the eyes of the world, build a case for faith, and don’t give up.
