Tossed into a social, political and culture firestorm that epitomized the 1960s, five friends from very different backgrounds form a strong bond at a small Vermont College in the fall of 1966. Mark Dennett is from Boston and aspires to be a great writer. Devon Wilson is from the tougher section of Newark, NJ and is smart and tough-minded. Gerard Ozman (“Oz”) is a gifted athlete who misses the sand and surf of California. Stevie Polkowski from the Chicago-area is timid, insecure, and overwhelmed. Jenny Porter is a small town girl from Vermont. Over the course of four years of college, and a handful of impactful years that will follow, these five friends endure the trials and tribulations that only this tumultuous decade can offer; landmark musical events, blood in the streets, a war tearing apart America at the seams. For this particular group it’s a virtual whirlwind of exuberant highs and devastating lows, caught up in events that will at times illuminate their lives, while also sending those same lives reeling into darkness. But through it all, even when the forces of nature and history are playing dodge-ball with life’s plans, these newly-bonded friends will do what it takes to keep their epoxy-like friendship intact. The goal for Mark, Devon, Oz, Stevie and Jenny was not to succumb to the passages of time, but to instead forge their own… TIME PASSAGES.
