A madman lives in the village, and he likes to talk to the villagers, but the villagers grow tired of his stories of when he was an explorer in Ecuador, and they begin to hide from him. He begins to grow lonely, and, worse than that, angry, and his madness begins to manifest itself in terrible ways. And he can't stand being stared at, particularly by his reclusive little wife....
