In the classic humor stylings of O. Henry, this story follows a couple with a dubious reputation. They are disreputable cons who have played the game well enough to get by with more than they should, but when the wife seems to be spending more than she should the husband enlists the help of the police. She is, in fact, involved in nefarious deeds, but even then humor abounds in the cold hard facts of her choices. Narrated by Glenn Hascall.
