Monica Lewinsky is back in the news. She's written a story for Vanity Fair in which she talks about her affair with President Clinton. Susie was glad to read that Lewinsky is candid about the affair being consensual. What is troubling to remember, though, is that back when this happened, Lewinsky was portrayed as a slut. Susie says there is so much more to this whole story, and she reads from an article she wrote for Ms. magazine that looks into Monica's background. Susie has a deeper understanding of this very intelligent young girl whose family life was unraveling around her.

Next, in the weird science department, doctors are growing engineered vaginas! Yes, by growing cells in a petri dish, then transplanting them into a woman's body, a viable vagina seems attainable for women born with a rare syndrome that causes them to lack a vagina. Cool stuff, says Susie.
