Life was hard for married couple Zack and Jessica. Struggling to make ends meet, their days were consumed by working simply to survive. So when a wealthy couple moves in next door to them, their lavish lifestyle and houseboat on Lake Michigan truly hit home to financially desperate Zack and Jessica.

Envy reared its head, and Zack began battling thoughts of inferiority. Against his own better judgment and his faithful and beautiful wife’s wishes, the envious husband purchased an expensive boat in an effort to ‘keep up with the Jones’. This uncharacteristic act driven by envy spawned a new relationship between Zack, his stunning wife, and their neighbors.
