Because the Father uses many ways to speak to His children, we should be careful not to miss Him because the mode of delivery might not fit our theology, previous experiences, or our lack of experiences.

There are “NOT GOD” voices, and then the Father’s voice. The Father uses many ways to speak to His children.

Some believers have the paradigm that God speaks only by way of His Word or through preachers. The Father speaks to us today in many different ways. One way is through the Holy Spirit.

How does “He Speak” to us through the Holy Spirit?
How do we know when the Holy Spirit is speaking to us?
How can we recognize the voice of the Holy Spirit?
How does the Holy Spirit reveal Himself and things to us?

Jesus made a profound promise to His disciples - the assurance of a Helper who would stand by them in His absence. This Helper, whose coming He foretold, would offer comfort, guidance, and empowerment to the disciples as they faced the challenges and uncertainties that lay ahead.

Embedded within the character of the Holy Spirit lies a ministry crafted to guide, illuminate, and enlighten the hearts and minds of believers. Among His many responsibilities of the Holy Spirit, one of paramount significance is the sacred duty to illuminate the teachings and Person of our Lord Jesus Christ. To do so, we need to hear His voice.

The Spirit of God dwells within us as a gentle, still voice, guiding us in remembrance of God’s words and prompting us to discern His opportunities woven into the fabric of our lives. This divine presence is a constant companion, whispering wisdom and insight into our hearts, nudging us toward alignment with God’s will and purpose.

Those who are spiritually hard of hearing seem to be attuned to living life on a whim and what circumstances they face. They are tuned into the “NOT GOD” voices of the world. Hearing the Father’s voice is a tool they have not added to their toolbox yet.

The Father loves nudging us along, speaking quietly to our hearts through the Holy Spirit. The heavenly Father speaking to us quietly through gentle impressions, thoughts, or feelings can be rewarding and filled with ministry opportunities.
