After returning to Edinburgh, Tallis, Bill and I find ourselves running from more demons, this time on the earthly plane!

Once we give the demons the slip, we’re on a quest—this time to free my aunt Annice from the clutches of none other than Alaire. Yep, it’s become a ‘if I can’t have you, I’m going after your family’ situation.

Once reunited with Annice, the five of us will set off on a much bigger quest—this one directly from the archangel, Uriel.

And along the way, I’m still plagued with my strange and haunting attraction to Asterion, the Minotaur. It’s a love that purportedly goes back hundreds of years. And that’s giving me cause for pause because I can’t help but wonder if my bond with Tallis will be enough or will I find myself falling in deeper with Asterion?
